How can you not move to this song

Ruth Pointer and Barry Gibb have very eerie similarities. Both were the oldest siblings with three younger siblings of the same gender also in music. All of the younger siblings died sooner (with the youngest dying the soonest in each case, June and Andy), with the oldest sibling outliving ALL three of the younger siblings. Ironically, the deepest voiced woman and the highest-pitched falsetto man have so many other similarities. Truly eerie, like a yin-yang of sorts. Ruth Pointer and Barry Gibb should do duets, in the form of joint tributes to all the younger siblings that have passed.

I cried when I read about her passing, so sad 😢, but, this beautiful lady’s legacy will live on forever with her sisters, The Pointer Sisters. R.I.P. 🙏my favourite Pointer Sister and June🙏, and Bonnie🙏 This amazing group, were beautiful ladies, who were dynamic, high energy and harmonized beautifully, they all knew how to sing 🎤. Ruth, you are amazing, 78 years young, love ❤️ your low voice, your Neutron Dance, Automatic and you sure know how to sing 🎶 gospel too, amen 🙏. I love ❤️ watching the Paris concert that the Pointer Sisters played at in the ‘80’s. Thank you for continuing the Pointer Sister legacy with your daughter and grand daughter, you are not only beautiful inside and out, but, very funny too. I watched all the Pointer Sisters interviews, and I cracked up many times, all of you ladies were hilarious, thank you for all the music 🎶 and great concerts and videos to watch. Back in ‘03, I worked at this liquor store. One of the salesmen from a distributor claimed to have been the touring drummer for the Pointer Sisters around this point in their career. Who knows, maybe he really was…but that ain’t him. I hope you enjoyed this thrilling little parable.

It was so sad 😢that June couldn’t fight to get over her cocaine addiction, she had a beautiful voice, lots of high energy on stage, she left us much too young. Then, Bonnie and Anita had passed after June. Ruth is left, the oldest Pointer Sister, and is carrying on the legacy with her daughter and granddaughter, good for you Ruth, you are amazing. June Pointer had beauty, great humour and was multi talented. Miss you and your sisters Anita and Bonny. Was listening to Bonny recently and watching her dance on Heaven must have sent you video. .
